IK Investment Partners
IK Investment Partners are a European private equity firm dealing with billions of pounds of investments across the globe. IK had become disenchanted with their existing website provider and their Marketing & Cominications Manager, Vidya Verlkumar , who had previously sampled the fantastic service supplied by Base 8 whilst in a previous role, requested that we be brought in. The site was a complex mix of WordPress, Custom Code, hosting on the Pantheon platform and requiring a staging area to test changes before being made live. The volume of custom code would present big challenges to most web developers but our senior coders were able to get to grips with the build very quickly and make multiple updates to repair functionality that previously didn’t work. We were then asked to create a series of animations which give the site a unique look and feel. The customers was so pleased with the service from Base 8 that they commissioned us to not only become their web development supplier but also one of their graphic design suppliers as well.
