At Base 8 Innovations, we partnered with ISWAN (International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network) to develop the ISWAN for Seafarers app—a vital digital resource designed to support seafarers around the world.

This user-friendly and accessible mobile app provides seafarers with 24/7 access to welfare resources, emergency contacts, mental health support, and practical guidance to help them navigate the challenges of life at sea. The app integrates offline functionality, ensuring key information is available even without an internet connection.

With an emphasis on usability, security, and accessibility, we created a platform that empowers seafarers with the support they need, when they need it. ISWAN for Seafarers strengthens ISWAN’s mission of promoting the well-being of seafarers globally by leveraging digital innovation to make essential services more accessible.
